Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 17 August 2026

These terms apply when you access or use SkilledCarer. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to follow them.

About the service

SkilledCarer provides an online platform through which care professionals and independent employers can publish information, find opportunities and communicate. SkilledCarer is not the employer, recruitment decision-maker, immigration adviser or party to any employment contract formed between users.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information, be legally able to use the service and keep your sign-in details secure. Employer users must be authorised to act for the organisation they represent. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Candidate responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for keeping their profile, qualifications, work status and availability accurate. You must not upload misleading, fraudulent or unlawfully obtained documents. Creating a profile does not guarantee contact, an interview, employment or sponsorship.

Employer responsibilities

Employers are responsible for lawful recruitment and for all required identity, right-to-work, DBS, reference, qualification, professional-registration, safeguarding and suitability checks. Job adverts and communications must be accurate, lawful and non-discriminatory. A platform badge or review does not replace your own checks.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse personal data, scrape the service, impersonate another person, post unlawful or deceptive content, send harassment or spam, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code or use SkilledCarer for a purpose unrelated to legitimate recruitment.

Plans and payments

Candidate accounts are free unless a future optional paid service is clearly offered. If paid employer features are enabled, the price, billing period and included features will be shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Any cancellation or renewal options available for a plan will be shown in the billing area or Stripe customer portal.

Moderation and suspension

We may review, restrict or remove content and suspend or close accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate reports, enforce these terms or comply with law. We may ask for supporting information before approving or restoring access.

Availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every user-provided statement is accurate. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, SkilledCarer is not responsible for recruitment decisions, user conduct or losses arising from arrangements made independently between users.

Contact and changes

Questions about these terms can be sent to admin@skilledcarer.co.uk. We may update the terms as the service develops and will publish the revised date on this page.
